My Story
Cecilia Ananya Belser-Patton is a visionary leader, educator, cultural strategist, and advocate committed to advancing equity, entrepreneurship, and collective community impact. As Executive Director of the Black Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, she leads initiatives that strengthen economic opportunity, elevate Black entrepreneurship, and build sustainable pathways for growth across Kansas City.
Cecilia’s leadership spans education, organizational transformation, restorative practices, and cultural innovation. Through her work with JUST Systems and leadership development initiatives, she has championed inclusive systems change and empowered communities through strategic collaboration and authentic engagement.
She also serves as a leading voice within Stronger Together KC—helping cultivate partnerships, strengthen community connection, and create spaces where healing, belonging, and shared progress can thrive. Her work continues to bridge business, culture, and social impact while inspiring others to lead with purpose and possibility.
Cecilia holds degrees from University of Oklahoma and University of Missouri–Kansas City and is recognized for building communities where people, ideas, and opportunity grow stronger—together
